Surprisingly challenging baby toys
With a baby in the house, we are once again fully into baby toys.
Rattles and crinkle books work well.
In my practice I have been using all sorts of different tangles for years to provide children with their need to fidget. It increases concentration and auditory processing of information and is therefore much more than just a toy to keep the hands busy.
For the youngest we got the Baby tangle twist & learn. As the name suggests, it is very similar to the well-known Tangle. It is a lot bigger and thicker so that it is also easy for the little baby hands to grab.
The different structures keep it interesting and there is also plenty to discover with the mouth.
There is a small rattle in it. Very nice to see how our 6-month-old son is experimenting with the power of his movements and thus creating a different effect. The Baby tangle is provided with 2 colored beads with different structures than on the tangle itself. This increases the sound effect and is also visually extra attractive due to the different color. The bright colors make it visually challenging without having those flashy colors.
Ideal to take with you when you go out
It takes some getting used to again taking a bag full of stuff with us when we go out. The Baby tangle is ideal to take with us. It takes up little space and our son can enjoy himself with it for a long time.
Also for older children
Although the toy is designed for babies, it is also suitable for children who are a bit older. The size of the Tangle makes it easy to hold. The movements you can make with it are therefore also bigger and calmer. Nice to use when your toddler or preschooler needs a moment of rest.
A real asset to our toy box.
