Like many other children, our children also find it difficult to have to wait.
For example, when they have finished eating but still have to sit quietly at the table until the rest of the family has finished. Especially at the end of the week when the children are tired after a whole week of school, playgroup and childcare, our helix timer offers a solution.

Watching the gliding drops is calming and relaxing for our daughters. The light in the helix timer goes out automatically, which makes it inviting to keep turning the lamp.

Often our ladies are still sitting long after everyone has finished their plate looking at the lamp. Lovely and quiet for mom and dad who can then talk about the day with a cup of tea.

In this zigzag lava sludge the colored drops roll down like a marble track in a zigzag. Fascinated you can follow the oil drops on their long way down. That is calming and relaxing.
By tilting and turning the fun starts again. Repetitive and yet different every time it remains fun to follow the drops with the eyes and focus on them.
