DIY Advent Calendar
Making your own advent calendar has many advantages. The content fits perfectly with your child's development , you can decide for yourself what to fill it with and you can combine . A purchased advent calendar has either candy or toys or tea bags
If you fill it yourself you can combine this which often works out better. 24 x a toy can be an overload and with us the chocolate and tea bag calendars were not opened anymore towards the end, because the kids were done with them.
So: fill it in yourself and vary!

This can also be arranged from very complicated to very simple. Take a nice wrapping paper or printer paper and Christmas stamps and just wrap everything. With a ribbon you can hang it on a branch or clothes hanger or coat rack. You can download the numbers below, cut them out and stick them on the presents.
You can also use boxes, bags, socks, jars, toilet paper rolls, coffee filters or envelopes .
Pinterest has a lot of suggestions, but don't get stressed about perfection. That's not the point.
The nice thing is that you have it all in your own hands. That can be overwhelming, but don't make it too difficult for yourself. For example, if you choose 4 groups and each of them does 6 pieces (or the other way around), then you'll be there in no time. You can also take the weekend into account, for example do a "together activity" there. During the week, nuts or raisins are nice to take to school right away.
