Holiday fun: on the backseat, zip bags

Our princesses love bags. Big bags, small bags, it doesn't matter as long as they can put something in them. So even on holiday they have to take bags with them for their treasures. Preferably in the back of the car right away. Because if you know it's coming along, you want to play with it right away. Last summer we took a princess pink zip-it bag with us for the first time.
Great size, about the size of a pencil case, but also a fun toy in itself. Our daughter, who was almost 4 at the time, had a great time in the back of the car zipping and unzipping the zipper. We had filled the bag with small items: magic wand, key rings with photos of family; key ring with lava hourglass; a mini flashlight for long tunnels; pocket puzzles and a key ring cuddly toy.
We had chosen items with a key ring, so that she could also hang them on a loop that we had made in the car next to her (saves you a few times of bending over as parents). When the zip-it bag was empty, she unzipped it and when she had zipped the bag closed again, all the items went from the "washing line" back into the bag.
She enjoyed it so much that she gave her sister a similar bag for her birthday this summer. A blue one of course…. There has to be a difference….
