First, it must be decided whether the players will play separately or as a duo. Playing together requires even more skill. The fruit tree is placed in front of the first player or the duo and filled with the 10 apples. The basket is placed about 20cm away from the tree and the hourglass and the jam jars in the middle of the table. The first player takes the two fruit pickers.
When playing with two players, each player takes a fruit picker. Then try to balance the apples one by one from the tree to the basket with the fruit picker. For each apple, the player or duo gets 1 jam jar.

For younger players, playing time can be extended to twice the hourglass time or played without any time.
