Drinking through a straw is a good exercise to strengthen the mouth/tongue muscles. This straw makes this extra fun, but also extra heavy. More suction must be used so that the two wheels inside the bird start turning while you drink.
This straw can also be used to blow, bubbling in a bottle of water for example. But then only one wheel turns.
Straws are stimulating if a child drinks little. With a nice straw, drinking becomes fun and playful.
The straw can be taken apart: top, bottom and bird. This way everything can be rinsed separately. As a hygiene tip, the manufacturer recommends placing the straw in the freezer for a few hours before using it again. The top piece can also be replaced with a new piece of straw.
