By pulling your hands apart, you rotate the disc. Intriguing for little ones to look at, great fun for older children to play with themselves: the so-called storm disk or buzz button.
First the disc is spun around a few times, then by pulling the hands apart and moving them together again, it is set in motion faster and faster, creating a whooshing storm sound. The pulling force can be varied. The rope can be shortened to fit your child.
If the rope is pulled too hard, it can snap. Check the rope every now and then!
