This spinning top has a long side handle. This makes it easier for your child to manage: hold on one side, pull on the other. The two hands are next to each other, which makes steering easier.
The top rod is placed in the handle, the string is put through the small hole and wound by hand. Maybe mom or dad needs to help. Now the top can be released and it whizzes through the room.
